About This Project

Beginning in mid 2014, I began discussing the idea of a brand refresh with the staff pastors of Destination Church. Destination Church happens to be my home church & I wanted to offer my (in my best Liam Neeson voice) “particular set of skills”. We started by making subtle changes to the original logo & typography to give them a more polished look. We affectionately refer to our logo as the “horseshoes”.

Then came the 800lb. gorilla of the website redesign. ERRØR TO THE THRONE started from the ground up…total overhaul on this one. Destination staff & I agreed that we wanted the site to be the central hub for everything happening within the church…not just a page that linked to outside services. So with this end mind, I built a responsive & interactive site that includes a media archive, group directories, e-giving & event calendar. Also it was important to bring our online services back to the site. Leveraging the Church Online Platform from the guys over at, I also created a site for DC Live. DC Live offers our online guests a live stream of our service with notes, YouVersion bible, e-giving & prayer requests.

For an added bonus, I added our sermon audio to the iTunes Store for podcasts. Users can subscribe to our podcast to get weekly audio messages delivered right to their mobile devices.
